Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy searching through the various reviews, articles and creative endeavours I’ve catalogued over the last few years.
Some facts about me:
- I am qualified as a teacher, journalist and writer.
- I possess a hard-earned four postgraduate qualifications (including a Master’s Degree in Film).
- I am a published writer – a Terence Davies piece was published in Scottish Arts Journal The Drouth and I contribute features and reviews to Little White Lies and One Room With a View.
- I have some ambitions as an independent writer-producer. See Rohaise Films section for some formative projects.

As well as cinema, I am hugely passionate about literature, music, travel and sports. I’ve been lucky enough to call the following places “home” – even if for only a short period of time in my life: London, Hull, Miami, Paris, Buenos Aires, Sheffield.

1/5 for The Wife Mr Nabarro? Ok, you didn’t like it, but please, 1/5 is the score for a dog of a film. People who have seen the film would be perplexed by your score and would likely not seek out further reviews.
And you gave Changeling 1/5? Is Patrick “PJ” Nabarro a human being? Your statement written on Rotten Tomatoes is a statement written by a robot who turned off all of its mentality while watching Changeling.
